About CHORUS

CHORUS (Coordination of Heterogeneous Actors in Mixed Traffic within CCAM) is an EU project advancing connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) through a unified orchestration framework that enhances road safety, efficiency and sustainability.

CHORUS addresses the complexities of road safety and traffic efficiency by providing a unified, multi-actor orchestration framework for the CCAM ecosystem. By integrating diverse transport modes of people and goods—including automated vehicles (AVs), cycling, ridesharing services and conventional vehicles—deploying AI-driven traffic management solutions, and fostering public–private collaboration, CHORUS aims to leverage the benefits of CCAM technologies while ensuring alignment with EU directives and standards, particularly those related to sustainability and safety.

With its multi-layer architectural framework deployed across seven demonstration sites, the project strive to deliver several key outcomes to improve traffic and mobility conditions, ultimately supporting EU climate and road safety goals. CHORUS is validating its solutions in seven different Demonstration sites, to ensure their applicability in a wide range of conditions
