The CHORUS project has joined the EU Road Safety Cluster, strengthening collaboration among European research and innovation projects working towards safer, smarter and more sustainable mobility.
By integrating automated and conventional vehicles with public transport, cycling, ridesharing and other mobility services, CHORUS aims to enhance the safety, efficiency and accessibility of urban transport systems. Joining the EU Road Safety Cluster will provide CHORUS with an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with complementary EU-funded initiatives, contribute to joint activities, and strengthen the links between research, innovation and practical road safety solutions. The Cluster brings together projects addressing different dimensions of road safety and mobility, helping to maximise the impact of European research and accelerate the uptake of innovative, data-driven approaches by policymakers, road authorities and industry.
Through its participation, CHORUS will contribute its expertise in CCAM, multimodal orchestration and urban mobility, while benefiting from the Cluster’s collaborative environment to explore synergies, share results and support the development of safer and more user-centred transport systems across Europe. This collaboration further reinforces the shared ambition of advancing European road safety and contributing to the long-term Vision Zero goal of eliminating road deaths and serious injuries.
