Coordination of Heterogeneous Actors
in Mixed Traffic within CCAM
CHORUS demonstration sites
Zürich, Switzerland
Zürich public transport serves 1.4 million residents with trams, buses, and trolleybuses. Although highly efficient, the city faces congestion and rising delivery demands. CCAM initiatives, including the PAUL project in Dietikon, explore autonomous parcel logistics to reduce traffic and support sustainable operations.
In Zürich, CHORUS supports autonomous last-mile parcel delivery by orchestrating vehicles, customers, authorities, and infrastructure around dynamic pick-up and drop-off points using real-time data and predictive routing.
