Helsinki, Finland

Helsinki, with over 650,000 residents, operates a dense multimodal network of trams, buses, metro, and ferries. To enhance sustainability and efficiency, the city is integrating CCAM technologies, focusing on smart logistics and VRU-focused services in challenging weather and congestion conditions.

In Helsinki, CHORUS supports off-street delivery robots and VRU-centric services by orchestrating C-ITS-enabled traffic lights, city data, and real-time messages to improve safety and operations in dense urban areas.
